Because we prioritize clean formulations and never add synthetic additives, our products may have different shelf lives than conventional skincare.

Natural ingredients are sensitive to time, light, heat and air. Their texture, scent and consistency can gradually change, particularly after opening.

To preserve the quality and freshness of your skincare, we recommend following these simple guidelines.

1. Use Within the Recommended Time After Opening

Each product has a recommended period of use after opening (PAO). This is the timeframe during which the product is expected to maintain its intended quality when stored and handled properly.

As a general reminder, many of our botanical formulations are best enjoyed fresh. Please refer to the individual product label for its recommended use period.

We encourage you to write the opening date on your product so you can easily keep track.

2. Store Your Products Properly

To help preserve the quality of your botanical skincare:

  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Avoid exposure to excessive heat and temperature fluctuations.
  • Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Do not introduce water into products.
  • Always use clean, dry hands when applying products from jars.
  • Keep droppers and applicators clean.

3. Pay Attention to Changes

Botanical formulations can naturally change over time. If you notice a significant change in texture, consistency, color or scent, discontinue use.

Do not use a product that has developed an unusual odor, visible mold, or an unexpected change in appearance.

4. Enjoy Your Skincare While It Is Fresh

We make our products in small batches to maintain freshness and quality. Rather than keeping your skincare on the shelf for extended periods, we encourage you to enjoy it as part of your daily self-care ritual.
